This photo was taken in my courtyard of my host family. This is my language group (L-R. Kat; Addi; Abby; Gwen; Aaron; and Nikki), I will be with them every day for the next two months. We took a bike ride around and visited everyone's homestays. That is technically my grandmother (mother to my host dad, she is hilarious and laughs everytime I speak Moore).
Brandon shaving Addi's head after he cut it all off to shaving length

YEAH we have communication... PCT get cell phones (colin and I trying to figure out this technology) Gwen's number in Burkina +226 75525077 (call and text me please, right now 4 hours ahead of the US, after daylight savings 5 hours ahead)

I am massaging my finger to get the blood out so I can make my malaria slides.

This photo was taken 2 hours AFTER the photo below of me being a HOT crazy mess. We all celebrated the glorious rain. We will probably not see rain again till May.

Do you see the disgusting sweat? It was soooo hot outside and I am downing a sashay of yougurt. I look NOT HOT

I am being adopted into my host family, My host dad Aly and I.

This is my whole PCT Burkinq Faso group meeting the King of the Mossi people. (Sorry it is smaller, thought it would be faster to upload but it was not.)

This is the chicken we offered to the King of the Mossi region, Aaron was in charge of giving it to the King. Protocal in Burkina, the King gave us a goat which we named Turkey and will have for Thanksgiving.

Isis is teaching Amanda and Josh the Moore way to play mancala (waga in Moore) completely different then how Amanda or I played.

One of my favorite things to get on a HOT HOT day Citron and Besap, frozen juice that you eat like a vampire; (Gwen, Sara G, Colin, Sara L)
